Week 1 @ Frome - Waiting list only.
Week 2 @ Newbury - Sorry, applications now closed.
Kingfisher Camps are held each summer for young people who have shown an interest in the Christian life.

Young people aged 10 years and above join together for a week camping, enjoying the facilities for meetings, dining, sport and crafts. This year (2022), we are planning to be back to running camp as normal, as a residential stay, sleeping in tents with a full programme of Bible meetings and activities.

There will be sufficient leaders at camp who are DBS checked and have a particular interest in the spiritual well being of young people.

The campers will be sleeping in 8-10person ridgeback tents according to age, with the tent and senior leaders in adjacent tents.
What to bring:
Bible and notebook
Sleeping bag, pillow and blanket - it gets cold at night!

Towel and wash stuff
Clothes and shoes for the week
Waterproof coat in case of rain, sturdy shoes and some warm clothes.

Torch - safety requirement
Swimming gear.
A small amount of spending money.
Any regular medication - to be handed in at the start of the week
Suncream and a hat

2021
This year, camp will be single days, with no overnight stays.
Update 28/07/2021
Bookings for Kingfisher Camp 2021 are now closed.
Kingfisher Camps are held each summer for young people who have shown an interest in the Christian life.

Young people aged 10 years and above would normally join together for a week camping, enjoying the facilities for meetings, dining, sport and crafts. Due to COVID, 2021 will be slightly different, as explained above.

There will be sufficient leaders at camp who are DBS checked and have a particular interest in the spiritual well being of young people.

Activities
This year, Kingfisher Camp provides a day programme of Bible study, sports and craft. A small charge will be made to cover costs. The days will provide a great opportunity to catch up with friends, make new ones and listen to some messages from the Bible.

What to bring:
Waterproof coat in case of rain.
Warm clothes as we hope to hold as much as possible outside.
Bible and notebook.
Packed lunch required for both weeks; drinks will be provided.

What not to bring:
You will be responsible for your own valuables, so please consider leaving them at home!
